WHAT TO EXPECT
‘Appy Hour Camp was curated by Heather Satterley and Liz Scott to support the intentional educator and to serve as an incubator for the next round of aspiring educators in the accounting space.
The entire educational, inspirational and entertaining retreat will be a co-mingling of established accounting industry educators, up-and-coming educators, and app developers. All camp attendees will be immersed in the sessions and activities together in a shared space to facilitate community and collective innovation.
We believe that the foundation of the future should be intentional. At ‘Appy Hour Camp, we want to supply our industry educators and app developers with the tools and resources to be intentional with their vision, time, direction, and leadership.
Vision/Mission Moments
Each day will hold an opportunity for sponsors to share their mission and vision with attendees. Breakfast is followed by a roundtable where sponsors and intentional educators collaborate on accounting solutions and emerging technology.
Ideation Round Tables
The Innovation Lounge is a dedicated space for sponsors to showcase their product development. Attendees will have the opportunity to creatively come together with sponsors and fellow attendees to experience new features and provide valuable feedback.
Fireside Chats
Fireside Chats are a place for attendees to inspire and invigorate one another as we join together to discuss the raw truths of the accounting industry and how to overcome the challenges we all face.
